Today’s challenge was to write an ottava rima. Wikipedia says this: ‘The ottava rima stanza in English consists of eight iambic lines, usually iambic pentameters. Each stanza consists of three alternate rhymes and one double rhyme, following the a-b-a-b-a-b-c-c pattern.’

I’m doing napowrimo every day
It’s fun but seems to cause me some concern:
I fear I will run out of things to say,
A lesson that all poets have to learn-
That words will somehow always find their way
And appear from the page when it’s their turn.
So now I’m back on track with number 8
And ready for the next one to create.
